A workshop with a
render farm's ambition.
Capital Print Lab started the way most good parts do: with a problem nobody sold a fix for. So we modeled one, printed it, broke it, printed it better — and never really stopped. Today the lab designs and fabricates parts for homeowners, inventors, engineers and small businesses across Maryland and beyond.
How we think about parts.
Function first
A pretty print that snaps in a week is a failed print. We pick materials, wall counts and print orientation around how the part actually gets used — loads, heat, sunlight, all of it.
Iterate cheap, iterate fast
The magic of 3D printing is that version 2 costs hours, not weeks. We'd rather print three test fits than argue about one over email.
Honest engineering
If printing is the wrong tool for your part, we'll say so and point you to the right one. We'd rather lose a job than ship you a part that disappoints.
Local, like actually
You can call us — (760) 308-7518 — and the person who answers is the person running your print. Huntingtown born, build-plate raised.
Inside the lab.
A fleet of FDM machines running engineering-grade filaments, backed by professional CAD tooling for modeling, reverse engineering and design for manufacturing. Small enough to care about every part; equipped enough to print almost any of them.

Come say hi — bring a broken part.
Those are our favorite. We'll model a stronger one.
